This year, on Tuesday, November 29th the Boys & Girls Club of EMW will be celebrating Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving. There are so many ways to become involved in this movement. People may choose to give any of the following: time, expertise, monetary donations large or small, or items the Club needs. Any donation, big or small, makes a difference. This year we would love to add a new game to our Club Games Room for the children such as a foosball table, air hockey table or arcade game. Playing is an important part of a child’s mental and social development. Playing with other children helps build a child’s brain, and is also good for their physical development. While playing, children can improve their strength, muscle control, and coordination. They also learn to try new things and take risks, which can help them in other aspects of life.
